(and i'm hungry too)

first post of the year 2008, sorry to have you people face with a frightening sight as this.
if you remember from the last post, my left sandal decided to swim to freedom when i wasn't looking, and it's now floating in the deep blue sea. while i did contemplate the possibility of jaron or any fisherman at sea finding it and bringing it back--and marrying the man who brings it back, a la cinderella--today, alas, the right sandal had to go. you see, my little cousins and family called to say that they were coming over, and our family rushed like bumble bees to tidy up what has become a sty of a living room. and other nearby areas. our house is small, you must understand. but if you've ever encountered such situations before you'd know that by tidying it basically means scooping up everything unsightly and throwing them into the guestroom/storeroom/studyroom and shutting the doors tight. anyway, i digress. so we were frenzy chickens throwing/stuffing things, when my mum came to me with a purple plastic bag which held my forlorn right sandal. "why you haven't throw???" so, with a heavy heart, i brought it to the rubbish chute. not before taking a picture to remember it by, of course. sigh. i threw $24.95 down the chute.

don't talk to me about it, please.

tmr's supposed to be the first day of school, but since it's all tutorials, there's no need to go all the way to boonyland. yeah! well. not very sure but that's what i (and col, might i add) have assumed it to be. period. col says we're both allergic to school, haha, cos she's having suspected food poisoning/gastric flu while i'm having an on-off relationship with my cold. i am, at this moment, still groggy from the cold med which u're supposed to sleep the drowsiness off but i hadn't time to do so. my big island of an ulcer on my lower lip is not helping too. WE WILL SURVIVE.

past 4 days we were having radio production workshop 9-5 everyday. for the sake of 2 AUs i woke up at the unearthly hour (in holiday terms) of 7.15 everyday, just to get to school on time. so basically, my holiday ended way before you folks out there, so don't complain. it was a good experience though, i must say. i am now an (almost) Pro Tools woman. haha. deanna and her lame jokes ruled the day. frizal comes in a close second with his crap. despite all that, the freezing computer lab, sleep-inducing lectures and mad rush to get our jingle, commercial and talk show done were worth remembering. (i sound like i am going to retire)

okay i'm tired. ciao all.
